[ENT] Marlins vs. Braves prediction: Sandy Alcantara will stymie Atlanta

“Just as MLB managed to compress a full season into 60 games, you also have managed to squeeze a full season’s worth of losing into 60 games. LOL. Great job though. Love your stuff. ‘Bullet-proof parkas!’ ” — Joe Miegoc

Thank you Joe, I think.

Still swimming. The Marlins, 57-105 last year and 250-1 to win the World Series in July have made it to the round of eight. Thought they would perish playing at Wrigley, but it’s the Cubs who are “sleeping with the fishes” after round 1. Braves will pose a bigger threat for Jeter’s Fish and they will start ace Max Fried in Game 1. Max fried the Reds (and us as well), shutting them out for seven innings in Game 1. Note Cincy failed to score a single run over
22 innings before heading home. Miami’s Sandy Alcantara limited the Cubbies to one run over 6 ²/₃ innings in his postseason debut. The Bravos haven’t seen him since last year. Faced them three times, earning an ERA of 2.41. Atlanta should advance, but we will swim with the Marlins in Game 1 for 10 units.
