Football season begins from today, See Match Fixtures of this Season

The 7th season of the Indian Super League (ISL) is from starting today (Friday). The teams of ATK Mohun Bagan and Kerala Blasters will go face to face in the opening match at Bambolim in Goa without audience. Total 11 teams will Participate in the tournament.

Kibu Vicuña, who coached Mohun Bagan last season, gave him the I League title and now he is the coach of the Kerala Blasters team. ATK Mohun Bagan head coach Antonio López Habas warned him that the Indian Super League (ISL) is a completely different tournament.

Vicuña’s first challenge will be from his former team, which will be in a completely new avatar as Mohun Bagan and three-time ISL champion ATK have merged.

Habas, the most successful ISL coach, said before the opening match, ‘Kibu Vicuña did a good job at Mohun Bagan, but this year it’s a different tournament and a different season.’

He said, ‘I fully respect him, but on Friday we will try to gain three points, because we are working for it every day.’

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Sourav Ganguly is very excited by the football season starting between the Kovid-19 epidemic. He believes that the successful conduct of ISL will reduce the ‘fear’ of organizing big competitions across the country.
