About NCLEX Scholarships

What is NCLEX?

The acronym NCLEX stands for National Council Licensure Examination. However, it is a test that every state regulatory board uses to determine if a student is fully prepared to become licensed as an entry-level nurse.

However, the exams are divided into two parts which are, the NCLEX-RN and the NCLEX-PN and the test you choose to take depends on the role that you seek.

The National Council Licensure Examination NCLEX-RN  has one purpose which is to determine if it’s safe for you to begin practice as a level one nurse.

It is completely different from any test that you took in school of nursing while nursing. However, the NCLEX-RN tests application and analysis using the nursing knowledge you learned in school.

Therefore, you will be tested on how you can use critical thinking skills to execute nursing roles in other to become a registered nurse.

However, the National Council Licensure Examinations (NCLEX) helps to determine whether aspiring nurses in states across the U.S. have the knowledge required for effective practice. The minimum number of questions for the NCLEXRN is 75 and the maximum is 265.
